Local Eggs

hard boiled

i’ve been eating a lot of hard boiled eggs lately… sometimes i eat them with salt and pepper, sometimes with soy sauce, and most recently, i’ve been dousing the yolk in worcestershire sauce. yum!

they say that eating too many eggs can be a problem cholesterol-wise, but naturally raised (free to run around in fields) birds lay eggs with significantly less cholesterol. they taste better too! while $5/dozen is steep, as is the case with all organic and sustainable foods, you’re paying up front… the alternative is to pay the same amount later, in health care.

i know i posted a photo of this same dozen a few days ago, but i had to post another. they’re so pretty!
